The Madikwe Game Reserve covers more than 75000 hectares of bushveld and is host to over 66 large mammals including the Big 5. Sightings of the endangered African Wild Dog and Cheetah are common. Home to 340 different species of birdlife, it is a birding enthusiast's dream come true.

Luxury Safaris range in a variety of prices and, as an indication of what to expect, one can pay anywhere from R2 000 to R20 000 per person per night sharing and more, depending on the choice of accommodation, season, specials and other determining factors.
