The Makanyane Safari Lodge has the capacity to accommodate a maximum of sixteen people and prides itself on the individual care offered to their guests to ensure their stay is unique and memorable.

Almost hidden amongst the lush riverside vegetation, the lodge has been designed to blend in beautifully with the natural bush environment. The lodge is unfenced and guests can delight in viewing various wildlife species at close range from the luxurious comfort of their glass walled bedrooms and should they desire, they can view the panoramic landscape from their en suite bathroom by simply opening a set of folding doors. Experienced and knowledgable game rangers accompany guests on game viewing safaris at flexible times designed to suit the individual's preference. Guests may expect to be captivated by the vast knowledge of the rangers who willingly offer information on all wildlife from the fascinating habits of a dung beetle to the intricate social system of the african wild dog. Spontaneous drives are commonplace. Should lions roar near the camp in the evening, you can expect an invitation from your ranger to go out in search of them. A maximum of eight people per vehicle ensures a more personal contact with your designated ranger.
