The lodge (6 luxury chalets and 4 luxury suites) has been built on a hill top, offering exquisite views of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve plains and the watering hole just below. The lodge can host 20 guests at a time adding to the lodge's exclusivity. Each cottage has: a double bed, a mini bar (stocked), a sunken bath, an open plan lounge and a lovely fireplace, tea/coffee making facilities, a safe, plug points and a hair dryer, and a private balcony.

The reserve hosts Africa's ever famous Big Five and numerous other wildlife and bird species. The rare brown hyena, the elusive cheetah, and the exalted sable also reside in the reserve. Tshukudu Bush Lodge seats only 6 guests per vehicle thus permitting a personal feel to each game drive.
