Lion Sands Tinga Lodge lies in 5000 hectares of the Tinga concession (the Jackelbessie concession) within the Kruger National Park. The Kruger National Park is recognised as one of the largest game reserves in Africa. Animals roam freely and undisturbed. Tinga Lodge is truly a Luxury experience. Being on the Sabie River the lodge offers exceptional ornate décor, taking African textures and creating a sophisticated and subtle classic African style.
The Tinga Safari Lodge suites are nine in total; they sleep up to eighteen guests. Rooms are fitted with en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, a lounge area, mini-bar, heated private plunge pool and a patio overlooking the river.
The Kruger Park is home to a large population of animals, reptiles, 517 species of birdlife, plants and bugs. The Big Five can be found in the Kruger National Park.

Tinga Lodge offers exclusive conferencing, with an executive boardroom that can accommodate up to 14 people in a fixed boardroom format. Our conference facilities include:

Children 0-6 years are not catered for at Tinga Lodge. Guests should inquire about rates for children before booking.
Due to the frequency of rates changing, we do not publish official rates on this website. Luxury Safaris range in a variety of prices and, as an indication of what to expect, one can pay anywhere from R2 000 to R20 000 per person per night sharing and more, depending on the choice of accommodation, season, specials and other determining factors.
