Savanna Private Game Reserve and Safari Lodge forms part of the greater Sabi reserve. It has nearby dams and the lodges personal waterholes attract various species of animal and reptile. Elephant herds are frequent visitors to the waterhole during the winter months. This spectacular array of animals allows guests a memorable safari experience.
Sabi Sand Game Reserve is seen as the "birthplace" of sustainable wilderness tourism and development in Sub-Saharan Africa. It is regarded by guests and staff as a place of wilderness and adventure. It contains some of the most extensive cross-section of the Mpumalanga wildlife population, including various endangered species. Sabi Sand shares an unfenced borderline with the Kruger National Park. Animals casually pass unhindered between the two parks.

Savanna Reserve has animals indigenous to the Sabi Sabi area are Cape buffalo, Reedbuck, Elephant, Spotted hyena, giraffe, cheetah, Burchell's Zebra, Duiker, Black-backed jackal, Hippopotamus, various antelope, leopard, warthog, Lion, white rhinoceros, wild dog and white-tailed mongoose, It is a veritable hub of birdlife; bird watchers can experience the sight and sounds of over 450 bird species birds.

Wedding facilities are available - we can accommodate up to 18 guests.
- 0-8yrs are not allowed unless the entire camp or the Savanna Suite is booked by family.
- Children 8-16yrs sharing with an adult pay 50% of adult rate.
- Children 17yrs + pay adult rate.
Due to the frequency of rates changing, we do not publish official rates on this website. Luxury Safaris range in a variety of prices and, as an indication of what to expect, one can pay anywhere from R2 000 to R20 000 per person per night sharing and more, depending on the choice of accommodation, season, specials and other determining factors.
