Phelwana Game Lodge is on Phelwana Game Farm, in the Guernsey private conservancy. The farm, bordered by Thornybush Nature Reserve, is close to the Timbavati and the Orpen Gate of Kruger National Park.
Phelwana offers the ideal venue for birthday parties, celebrations and conferences.
The four star rated Phelwana Game Lodge can sleep 46 people. Phelwana offers guests a variety of accommodation offerings:
- 2 Luxury Tents (Fish Eagle & Bateleur), each sleeping 2 people
- 3 Luxury Bush Villas (Dzombo, Joao & Mafunyane), each sleeping 6 people
- 3 Bush Villas (Kambaku, Shingwedzi & Mandleve), each sleeping 4 people
- 2 Bush Villas (Shawu & Ndulamithi), each sleeping 2 people
The two luxury tents are Phelwana's premium accommodation. The tents are situated on the Phelwana Dam and offers a view over the water from the private deck or plunge pool.
The three luxury bush villas can accommodate six guests comfortably, and provides guests their own swimming pool for relaxing and unwinding in the fresh Bushveld air. One unit is wheelchair friendly and fully equipped for people with disabilities.
The three larger bush villas can each accommodate four guests in comfort. These units are private and secluded and also offers private pools.
The two smaller bush villas can each accommodate two guests in comfort.These units also provide guests with their own private swimming pool - and are popular because of their round "rondawel" shape.
There is a large selection of plains game at Phelwana Game Lodge such as kudu, waterbuck, nyala, impala, zebra, giraffe, duiker, buffalo and warthog. A variety of bird species and nocturnal species may also be spotted.

Phelwana Game Lodge offers facilities for conferencing, bushveld weddings and birthday parties.
- Children from the age of 6 are welcome.
Due to the frequency of rates changing, we do not publish official rates on this website. Luxury Safaris range in a variety of prices and, as an indication of what to expect, one can pay anywhere from R2 000 to R20 000 per person per night sharing and more, depending on the choice of accommodation, season, specials and other determining factors.
