Animals to be seen at Mjejane River Lodge there is an innumerable array of varied species of animal such as the endangered Wild Dog, the rare Roan Antelope and the Big Five. Birdlife is prolific; the riverine attracts a plethora of birds and animals. There are over 450 species of bird which include; Southern Carmine Bee-eaters, Steppe Buzzards, and the Southern Ground Hornbills.
