At the border of the Timbavati Game Reserve and Kruger National Park, The Klaserie Private Nature Reserve rests in its hot and dry state. The hot, dry conditions of the Klaserie Game Reserve is complimented by its rustic and sparse vegetation which makes for great game viewing in this 60 000 hectare game reserve.
The area is well known for their fantastic walking safari opportunities. Africa on Foot also has some very charming staff who provide friendly service, comfortable accommodation in rustic units, and finally of course, the lodge's resident Buffalo, Bruce.
Africa on Foot Camp has only five units as well as a tree house. With so few units, a certain level of exclusivity is attained and only enhances your African experience.

Klaserie Game Reserve is known for its wide-ranging antelope populations, and their amazing Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo) viewing opportunities and large bird populations that will excite any passionate birder.

Luxury Safaris range in a variety of prices and, as an indication of what to expect, one can pay anywhere from R2 000 to R20 000 per person per night sharing and more, depending on the choice of accommodation, season, specials and other determining factors.
